Shanaya did well this session, but occasionally went offscreen/turned her camera off and didn't participate actively quite as much as her classmates. She still seemed to have a good understanding of the material and seemed to enjoy the lessons. I discovered today it might be helpful to prompt her engagement when she's bored/tired by asking her opinion on trivial things (have her choose what color to underline text before asking her what to underline, etc.) · Annabelle

Shanaya did well with both the rhyming lesson and test prep today. She consistently shows an ability to give an incorrect answer, check her reasoning, and correct herself. I'm proud of her growth in the last couple weeks! · Annabelle

Shanaya connected well with the book and did a great job identifying the feelings of each character and why they were acting the way they were. She had a good grasp on the grammar lesson, though she wasn't always able to correctly identify the proper end marks during independent examples. · Annabelle

She had a bit of trouble with directions (when I said to write down 3 action words, she consistently only wrote 1 despite me restating directions, and I know she wasn't running out of time because she would give me a thumbs up that she was finished). She did well during the test prep, thought through each question deeply, and excelled at the vocabulary Kahoot. · Annabelle

Shanaya was more engaged today than she has been in recent sessions! She had a good understanding of describing words and came up with some great examples. She also won the Kahoot today, which I think helped her confidence. · Annabelle

Shanaya seems distracted sometimes in class. This is usually short-lived and she returns to the topic at hand, but she occasionally appears tired and doesn't answer questions, even when I call on her specifically. When she is participating, she usually has a good answer. · Annabelle

Shanaya raises her hand frequently to answer questions and seems excited to engage. I feel that she becomes easily discouraged when she doesn't know something, and she became upset during this session when Shivam blurted out her object during the guessing game (since he had seen it). She left the call because she was upset, and she wouldn't answer any of my questions for the next few minutes after she came back. She returned to normal soon, though. I have to be mindful about Shivam and Shanaya's interactions during the sessions. · Annabelle
