October 2026
27 Oct 26
Session
There are some gaps . The recollection of sounds was not smooth , prompts are needed . Reading whole sentences is strong . Sight words recollection is also strong . · Tulasi
22 Oct 26
Session
Intervention needed . · Tulasi
20 Oct 26
Session
Did not write a single word correctly. Reading: Struggled with isolated word reading this session. Full-sentence reading: Fabulous — read full sentences fluently. Sight words: Strong, no issues. Intervention needed I needed of him . · Tulasi
15 Oct 26
Session
Performance was inconsistent. He can read the target words, but sometimes misread them in context even after repeated cues and prompts. The same pattern showed in writing: he would spell one word correctly and then struggle considerably with the next. He needed extra attention, and time constraints prevented full resolution. Carry-forward: follow-up with Rehan is needed on reading in context and on writing accuracy. · Tulasi

Session
Participated actively and was good at fluency reading. He reads whole words fluently without needing to blend, but his phonemic awareness is weaker. He read “shark” correctly without blending, yet could not produce the /ar/ sound when it was given on its own. His writing still shows no improvement: he got two words correct and struggled particularly with “church,” so I moved on to the next word. Carry-forward: follow up on phonemic awareness (isolating sounds) and on writing. · Tulasi

Session
Rehan joined approximately 5 minutes late but caught up well. · Tulasi

Session
Showed good progress today in both reading and writing. · Tulasi
22 Sep 26
Session
Reading and writing performance showed the same inconsistency pattern noted in previous sessions. · Tulasi
17 Sep 26
Session
needed extra prompting for writing activity · Tulasi
15 Sep 26
Session
Reading was inconsistent: correctly sounded out words roughly half the time, with occasional confusion where an incorrect sound was given; however, when re-tested, he consistently produced the correct sound. This pattern suggests the difficulty lies in concentration or momentary focus rather than recall or processing ability. Got approximately half of the sight words correct; continued sight word practice recommended. · Tulasi
9 Sep 26
Session
Correctly spelled three of four target words; struggled with "toast" and was unable to self-correct even with prompting. During the scavenger hunt, brought a long ribbon/rope — a clear and creative match to the prompt. · Tulasi
8 Sep 26
Session
Correctly identified the picture-based /oa/ sound activity (coal) despite most of the group not getting it correct. Participated well throughout the session, particularly during the reading activity, and continues to progress well overall. · Tulasi
3 Sep 26
Session
Rehan is settling in well with the group and showed improved participation compared to the last session. He was occasionally sluggish while reading words aloud, so continued practice with reading fluency will help build his confidence and pace. · Tulasi

Session
Joined a few minutes late; parent requested the session link separately. Presented as shy initially and took time to settle into the session, but engaged for a while later — accurately read words, suggesting a good fit for the group going forward. · Tulasi
