Session
Harsith has a very good grasp on today's lesson. He has finished reading the entire book and completed his entire essay. I encouraged him to write the sources for his facts and continue editing his work. I notice today that sometimes I have to call on Harsith last when asking discussion questions because most of the time he is correct( I want other students to get a chance to contribute). · Hannah

Session
Harsith seems to have a great understanding of today's lesson. He told me he is ahead on his reading streak and it was apparent when we went over the facts/knowledge the students gained from reading chapters 1-3. He wrote a very solid introductory paragraph that needed a few tweaks, but was still a good foundation. He did great when making inferences about why the Titanic tickets were priced high/low, why there was a large number of first class passengers, and why certain crew-mates were paid more. · Hannah

Session
Harsith demonstrates a very good overall understanding of today's lesson. He already came in with prior knowledge about the Titanic and used that knowledge to further explain why certain facts were true/false. He does a very good job when citing specific in-text examples, especially when explaining why the text supports his thoughts. He did well on the progressive tenses activity and was engaged throughout the entire class. · Hannah

Session
Harsith seems to have a good understanding of today's lesson. He explained to the class what a "theme" was and he was able to identify the central theme quite well. He is skilled at pulling evidence from the text to back up his answers. He was able to give an accurate definition to the word "defective" by using what we learned about prefixes. · Hannah

He engaged in a polite and meaningful back and forth discussion with Kashvi, to back up his opinion that the characters know more about themselves rather than the narrator. He did very well on the writing activity. · Hannah

Session
Harsith did great today. He did an exceptional job when giving reasoning and evidence to back up his answers. He did a good job at giving an accurate meaning of the word "agony" despite me not giving the exact definition, and he relied on contextual clues to make the assumption. He expanded on his story with creative details. When other students made a mistake, he is sometimes quick to correct them instead of letting me guide the student. · Hannah

Harsith did excellent today, and he was very engaged and excited to learn. He told me he had already read the book but he still participated in discussions using just the chapter we read together. His story map was extremely creative and detailed. When we were playing the game, he allowed other students to go first since he realized he was answering a lot of the questions during class. · Hannah

Tech issue · Had slow internet connectivity for Wayground quiz for approximately ten minutes. When other students were already 1/3 of the way completed, he was still on question 1. He did not tell me his internet was slow/not working until I noticed and asked him about it. · Open
