Session
Aishu did an outstanding job today! She has a very good grasp on the overall lesson. She did exceptionally well with the paragraph organization activity as well as identifying simple present/present progressive sentences. She was answering every question with good accuracy. For the few she missed, she seemed to self correct and understand why she got it incorrect quite quickly. · Hannah

Aishu seems to have an okay understanding of today's lesson. She told me she had not started reading the book yet at all, apart from the in-class readings we do. She seems to have a good grasp on writing body paragraphs. She received a 27% on the wayground quiz. · Hannah

Aishu seems to have a good understanding of today's lesson. She told me she didn't do the reading for homework but did a lot of research on her essay topic, which showed when she shared her introductory paragraph with me. She seems to have a good grasp on chapter 2, as well as a good foundational understanding about her essay topic. She just had a bit of confusion about the charts/boxes but she did well when we went over it as a class. · Hannah

Aishu demonstrates a good overall understanding of today's lesson. She made good inferences about the other shipyards and what it was like to build ships in the past. I don't think she cited specific examples from the text, but it was clear she had a good understanding of what she read. She did especially well with the progressive tenses activity and answered each question perfectly. · Hannah

Session
Aishu did very well today. She was able to give a solid rating of the book and back up her opinions with reasons why she thought it was good. She has a good understanding of the parts of the story she wrote, and she had respectful feedback for all of her peers. She was very attentive and engaged. · Hannah

Session
Aishu seemed to have a little bit of trouble identifying the theme at the beginning (just gave me a summary and not a central theme). After group discussion, she was able to narrow down her ideas into a basic central theme. Aishu was not able to fully participate in the writing activity because her rough draft was only partially completed, so she just edited what she could. She did good at the grammar game at the end and was able to tell me the answer to a question that nobody else could figure out. · Hannah

Other (Add in Concern details) · When we were sharing what we wrote for our writing activity, she did not want to share hers. I compromised by asking her to share a few details instead. This was unusual because Aishu is always open to sharing with the class. I think it might be because she had some difficulty thinking of an ending for her story? · Resolved 2026-10-16 · resolving as the recent feedback is good, spoke to the parent during report convos.

Aishu demonstrates average understanding when it comes to identifying the narrator and rewriting from a different character's point of view. She was not as participatory today (may have to do with her illness from last class). She seemed a bit inattentive and asked me to repeat directions for several activities last minute. During the story writing activity, she was not writing at all and was looking up at her screen. She did not have anything written for her writing activity. I asked her to please work on the rest of her story for homework. · Hannah

Aishu demonstrates a good understanding of vocab and inferring from contextual clues. She was not as engaged today because she was sick, therefore I did not cold call her or force her to participate. She was not able to add sensory details to her story because she couldn't think of any. · Hannah

Aishu did great today, she was engaged and respectful. She told me she did her reading homework. She was able to back up her opinions with text, and she was able to explain her reasoning well. She had a bit of trouble pronouncing the vocabulary word "agony", but she was willing to try again. She was also able to give me a good definition of "agony" based off the context of the story. · Hannah

Aishu did good this class. She said she had not read chapters 1-6 because she had already read the story in the past, so I encouraged her to keep up with the reading even if she had already read the story. She has a great grasp on how illustrations and text work together, and she expanded on her story map very well. · Hannah

Aishu did excellent today. She was attentive and eager to learn and answer questions. She told me she already read the book, but she still participated in discussions like she had never read it before. She was great at being able to back up her points with evidence. · Hannah

Aishu did excellent today and she finished her Wayground quiz first, so she quietly read a book for a few minutes while everyone finished. She did a very artistic drawing for her quiet time activity. · Hannah
